  1. Noem on the (farm) welfare bill …

Begging govt to let one use ones own land because they thought to give govt the control over that land in the first place for a bowl of pottage is not a virtue our founding fathers believed in nor did they promote. Oh, I forgot, those old dead guys couldn’t predict the times of today.

But it seems the ultimate authority of this earth did looooong before our founding fathers held fast to it … Gen 25:32 And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?” 33 Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.” So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. 34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.

We reap what we sow. The fact that these farmers (some in my own family) thought they could gleam a profit for nothing, reap what they had not sown, thsu they are now reaping the their just reward, being broght to thier knees begging. the only problem, they continue to turn to the wrong “Authority”.
