Rudy on KSM and New York
As someone who is a social conservative (old-fashioned in mores) I have some pretty sharp disagreements with Rudy Giuliani. However, when it comes to the issue of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and trying him as a criminal rather than an enemy combatant, I find myself in concord with the former mayor of New York City.

You are absolutely, totally right. I’m not on the same page with Rudy on some of those pesky social issues. But he’s right on this one, I was an early supporter of Rudy’s derailed bid for Presidentb because to me, national security is THE most important issue above all others. If we are not safe, what else matters?

Thank you. You make a good point. A society which is not safe from outside aggression doesn’t have much of a future anyway.
